The sea is full of secrets, with myriad faceless organisms that seek nourishment and shelter in the crevices of shallow tide pools, kelp forests and deep seamounts. Our fascination with the sea’s mysteries leads us to collect treasures from it and marvel at their intricate forms. By celebrating the fragile beauty of species native to the Big Sur coast and offshore canyons, this selection of Curiosities aims to inspire viewers to cherish and protect the marine environment and recall our immemorial reliance on its resources.
